MyGate & PayGate Payment Gateway modules for OpenCart
I have released my first 2 OpenCart payment modules.
MyGate Payment Module
The payment module works with the MyGate Credit Card processing service to process payments in South Africa.

The payment module works with the PayGate Credit Card processing service to process payments in South Africa.
There have been a couple of OpenCart reviews to date and a quick Google search will provide you with a comprehensive overview of it’s functionality, pros and cons.

Hi Matt,
I need to setup a payment gateway for a south african website using Opencart, what is the best way you’d recommend for payments to go through as I am aware that there have been some difficulties getting a few of them to work for South African banks..

@Andrew: As long as the business has a Merchant account that is supported by the payment gateway there shouldn’t be any problems.
MyGate : http://mygate.co.za/products/banks – ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank, MCB
VCS: http://www.vcs.co.za/ – Costs -> Card Fees – ABSA, FNB, Standard Bank, Nedbank
PayGate: http://www.paygate.co.za/ – Does not list compatible bank accounts, but I assume ABSA, FNB and Standard Bank at the very least.
An alternative would be to look at Moneybookers or PayFast
